Recycled stairs

A beautiful set of mahogany stairs will be fitted as our first-to-second floor run. They are recycled from another house, courtesy of Bill Stratton Building Company.

More painting

Each plank gets primed twice. The first pass is spot priming with shellack based BIN to prevent knots from bleeding through. The second complete coating is with Benjamin Moore Fresh Start.
